Registration and abstract submission is open for the International Pandemic Sciences Conference 2023 – Making the Exceptional Routine, to be held on 10-11 July in the Town Hall in the heart of historic Oxford and live-streamed online.

The conference is dedicated to the discovery, creation and equitable application of practical solutions to epidemic and pandemic threats worldwide. Representatives from academia, industry, policy and civil society from across the world are warmly invited to join us for presentations and discussion across four topic areas:

Final call for abstracts: submission deadline extended to Monday 8 May

Delegates joining us in-person in Oxford are invited to share their work through poster or oral presentations.

With just a few days to go until our final deadline, visit the conference website to submit an abstract and view full guidelines on the submission process. Abstracts should fit into one or more of our four conference topics.

Bursary scheme now open!

Thanks to the generosity of our funders and partners, we’re pleased to support individuals from Low- and Middle-income countries (LMIC) with travel for the International Pandemic Sciences Conference 2023.

Bursaries are available for those presenting at or attending the conference and will support costs such as flights, visas and accommodation in Oxford, up to £1500. Visit the conference website to find out if you are eligible and apply for a bursary.

Registration options

Conference registration is open, with the option of joining us in Oxford or livestreaming via our online conference platform. We’re also pleased to offer a range of discounts for students and those from low- and middle-income countries.
