The UK CVN is inviting members to apply for CVN Executive Meetings Secretary post that is vacant. Applicants are requested to provide a statement accompanied by a short CV explaining what they can offer the CVN and why their experience and skills are relevant to the post. Selection will be by one member one vote facilitated by the Electoral Reform Society if more than one member applies for a post. Both the statement and CV will be available to all CVN members before they can cast their votes, should voting be required. This is an exciting time to become involved in the current work of the CVN and help shape its future. The coronavirus pandemic has highlighted how important it is to have a network of professionals working in clinical virology. The CVN plans to evolve to improve the membership experience, generating opportunities and challenges in the short and medium term. The executive committee encourages all CVN members to consider applying for this post.
