Clinical Virology Network 2023 Programme

The CVN invites you to register for its annual scientific conference, on Monday 15th and Tuesday 16th of May 2023 in Birmingham. The conference has an exciting and topical programme, covering a broad range of topics including:

Abstract submission for oral presentations is now open to applications with a closing date of 31st March 2023. Please submit your title (50 words maximum), abstract (250 word maximum), authors and affiliations, author approval confirmation as well as confirmation that one author will attend the conference in person. Please state your preference for oral presentation or poster.

 

All submissions should be sent to [email protected]. Applicants who are eligible will be entered for the William Tong Prize, including those in training for FRCPath as well as biomedical and clinical scientists in training.

The standard registration fee for the two days conference including lunch on the Monday is £120.0. Tickets can be purchased to include the CVN dinner (£10) on the evening of Monday 15th May.

A limited number of bursaries worth up to £300 each will be available for biomedical scientists, clinical scientists and medical specialty trainees at those SVCs and SVUs that are current CVN members (application forms and full qualification criteria available from [email protected]). Bursary recipients are expected to attend both days of the CVN conference.
