Postgraduate Virologists Network Conference

We’re excited to announce a new initiative for building a postgraduate virology research community across the UK: the first annual virology conference for virology students, by virology students.
In this affordable meeting, organised jointly by the Centre for Virus Research, Pirbright Institute and the Crick Institute, virology PhD and MSc students from across the UK and Ireland will meet to discuss their work, develop networks with each other, and consider career directions with visitors from academia and industry. The keynote speaker will be Dr Helen Bright, whose career as a virologist in industry has included work with many of the major pharmaceutical companies, including important work on the nasal spray influenza vaccine and the next gen/variant Chadox Covid vaccine. She is now Chief Scientific Officer at Centauri Therapeutics.
